Some babies do, but some dont. My son lost some of his hair, but not all.

My daughter was born with massive amounts of hair. It thinned out just a little, but she never went bald.

My daughter didn't, and now there is new hair growing underneath the hair she was born with.

Both of my boys lost most of their hair, and my daughter hasn't lost any of hers yet. It seemed to me that the boys hair was falling out from rubbing off or breaking due to sleeping. Could be a crock of ... but, the backs of their heads were bald. Seemed to make sense to me!

not all babies lose their hair after they are born. my daughter was born with alot of dark hair and a few weeks after birth it all fell out and she was bald til she was 2. when my son was born he had a head full of dark hair also but his never fell out, it just kept growing. it just depends on the baby i guess. hope this helps!

no, but some babys do, then they re grow it. my friend told me when she was a baby she was a brunett, but then all her hair fell out and she had blond hair ever since then...

My son did, but not all of it. The back of it wore off from where he started rolling his head back and forth. The rest of it kinda thinned out and he looked like he had a receeding hairline for awhile but as it progressed toward the crown the from began to regrow and it kinda caught up with it all. I did find a few hairs randomly that were about 6 inches long and the rest was only about an inch. So it did fall out, but it was regrowing at the same time so u couldnt tell alot about it.

I know some children dont lose any. His hair is really thick now though. Almost too thick, but its lays perfect.

hi, well i just had a baby three months ago today, and she has still got all the hair she was born with, its no wonder i suffered with heartburn an indigestion while i was pregnant there is masses of it!

babies loose the hair because its only baby hair its very fine an weak and because they lay down on the back of their head some babies get a bald patch because the hair is weak.
