I took her to the vet a month ago for tapeworms and she's doing good. she's on science diet and at first her coat was very shiny and would lose very little hair but now she just shreds every where! is there anything wrong with her? She stays home alone everyday for about 8 hrs could she be depressed? She got fixed about 1/2 yr ago and everything else seems normal she doesn't complain of anything. what is it?

Maybe the shampoo you use for her is either too strong or too weak. Check the pH level of the shampoo before purchasing it.
Or it could be because you changed her diet recently. If you have, it may take sometime for your Chihuahua to get used to the diet or you could always change it back again.
Thirdly and lastly, it could just be a phrase that you Chihuahua's going through or the weather.
