Where can I find good quality hair extensions CHEAP in Canada? / Would extensions look good on me?

I used to have long hair, but I got my hair done, and the stylist cut my hair too short. This was last year around September. I lost alot of hair, due to some health problems, but its alright at the moment. Just a bit damaged (I got a damage treatment from my salon a few weeks ago and I use it weekly -- like the stylist said to.) Anyways, its almost to my shoulders, probably like 1/2 an inch away from being shoulder-length. But I desperatley want scene hair. So, I need hair extensions. Here are some examples of what I want:

My hair is naturally dirty blonde, and currently a dark, reddish black. I can't strip the color -- it costs too much. And I'm impatient so I really don't feel like waiting years for it to grow out. Help me please!

This is me, I need to know if you think they'd look good.

PS - I need cheap, good quality extensions!

Where can I find good quality hair extensions CHEAP in Canada? / Would extensions look good on me?

sally's beauty supply sales hair extensions, there not real human hair so you can't curl or use hot tools on them but they come already straight and stuff. I buy the clip in ones cause they are way better so that way you can have a different look drastically. they only take like 3 minutes to put them in your hair and they look totally real no one can tell unless they no me.

Can abruptly stopping predisone cause sudden hair loss?

i have rhuematiod arthritis %26amp; was taking predisone for a short period of time. I was not to able to continue the medicine, so stopped it after i ran out of the perscription. About a wk. %26amp; 1/2 later, I started losing quite a bit of hair and am still losing it. Just wanted to know if it was caused by stopping the steriods

Can abruptly stopping predisone cause sudden hair loss?

Prednisone prescribed for only a week or ten days usually is a tapered dose. If by "short period of time" you mean several months or more, then there are many withdrawal symptoms that affect different people in different ways, some of which can be very serious. If your only side affect is the sudden hair loss, then you probably weren't on it too long, and might be all right. But you really should see your doctor, the sooner the better, tell the scheduler that you abruptly stopped the drug. You didn't say when you stopped or how long you've been off now - what if there are effects you aren't aware of yet?

As to your specific question about HAIR LOSS, the prednisone certainly could be the cause, again, effects do vary. I was on it for over 2 years, and my significant hair loss ceased, but was already improving while I was tapering. At that time I also had begun some supplements that included gelatin, which could have contributed. Think about anything else different you did or stopped, food or any kind of drugs, new hair products (you never know..) or if you've been under a lot of stress that could have affected your hair. Provide the information to your doctor. Please do go, and good luck to you.

Can abruptly stopping predisone cause sudden hair loss?

im sorry to say that prednisone can mess you up in any way it chooses. it is such a powerful drug.you have to go off it slowly, very. call you dr who prescribed it, tell him what your going thru and ask if he can help you get off it with samples. alot of ppl ask that so dont be shy. really, he should know whats going on. and you dont want to cause any damage to your body by being off abruptly. it really is a more powerful drug than we think. it can cause emotional changes, eatin habit changes and a gen feeling of crappiness. ive even heard of ppl who feel neurotic on it. please call your doc, him or the nurses will help you if you are honest about what your going thru.good luck.

What is the evolutionary reason why many men lose their hair?

not sure if there is one but....it would seem that all humans will evolve out of their hair...doesn't really serve a purpose...other then the hair in our nose and ears

What is the evolutionary reason why many men lose their hair?

there is none? I gave one! Report It

What is the evolutionary reason why many men lose their hair?

the reason we have hair is to protect ourselves against cold.

people who lose their hair usually lose it after 30 years old

and they can start to reproduce around 15.

This gives the people who lose their hair a LOT of time to reproduce before losing their hair, catching a cold and dieing from it.

That's why losing our hair hasn't been rejected by evolution. Not because it's better, but because it's not too bad: gives enough time to reproduce.

Natural selection doesn't select the "best" possible species... it only kills off those who can't survive long enough to give birth. But don't worry, that's a common misunderstanding

What is the evolutionary reason why many men lose their hair?

Evolution explains long term changes. Even old animals lose their hair or fur. This is primarily used it the case of animals for insulation and in many including humans for social reasons like mate selection.

Once we are past our reproductive prime, there is no sense in continuously recharging the hair.

What is the evolutionary reason why many men lose their hair?

The effect is most common in men who are well past the stone age life expectancy of 30 years. Past the point where a man would have fathered children so it couldn't have an impact on mate selection.

I started losing my hair whats the best way to stop hair loss and regrow new ones?

Depends your age and genetic texture of your hair. If you are in your 20's and 30's and losing hair without having any genetic and heridity background, Apply Mintop Minoxidil on scalp(5ml twice a day) and take Finasticide pill once a day to stop your harmonal imbalance. This will stop and delay your hair loss pattern (again depending on your genetic DNA). In 20% of cases this medicine cause hair to regrow. Who knows you will get your hair back one day and join that 20% bandwagon! Good luck

Do cancer patients lose there pubic hair when they go through kemo?

me and my girlfriend had a big debate about this

Do cancer patients lose there pubic hair when they go through kemo?

Not all chemotherapy regimes cause hair loss; some just cause hair thinning, and some don't cause hair loss at all.

Chemo that causes hair loss can cause hair loss anywhere on the body. Some people lose all their body hair, some lose just some of it, and pubic hair is often the first to go.

I lost the hair on my head and my pubic and underarm hair; my eyelashes and eyebrows thinned out a bit, but I was lucky enough not to lose them. The hair on my legs didn't budge.

Interestingly, my underarm hair never grew back.

Do cancer patients lose there pubic hair when they go through kemo?

Yes, they lose all of their hair! Good question though!

Do cancer patients lose there pubic hair when they go through kemo?

Most chemo patients loose all the hair on their bodies!!! Even their nose hair!!!

Do cancer patients lose there pubic hair when they go through kemo?

you lose your hair everywhere. arms, legs, head, and rest of the body.

Do cancer patients lose there pubic hair when they go through kemo?

There is no way for the chemo to pick and choose which hair folicles it will attack. Once the hair starts to fall out it will fall out from eveywhere. I lost hair due to medication. Although it wasn't as drastic as chemo I lost it all over.

Do cancer patients lose there pubic hair when they go through kemo?

Yes, they will lose all hair.

Do cancer patients lose there pubic hair when they go through kemo?

It's chemo, and yes, they lose all their hair.

Do cancer patients lose there pubic hair when they go through kemo?

yes

Do cancer patients lose there pubic hair when they go through kemo?

Depends on how severe the chemo treatment is. I only lost the hair on my head when I underwent my chemo treatments and it later gradually came back (well some of it haha most stayed gone but it was going anyway).

What do you do when you use gel and lose a lot of hair?

i have many ball spots on my head, and i want those to be replaced, do you think if i shave my head i will get all my hair back. I like making my hair spiky and it takes atleast 15-20 hair everytime i do my hair. i do my hair every morning and girls be on me at school all day

What do you do when you use gel and lose a lot of hair?

I think that the product you are using isn't meant for everyday use if you don't have a haircare regiment. Meaning simply you have to take care of your hair if you are going to put stress on it such as harsh products.

Invest in a good clarifying shampoo and Aussie 3 minute miracle conditioner. Make sure to wash all the styling gel out of your hair thoroughly and condition daily for twice the time you would normally.

Also don't style your hair in spikes everyday. I know it sucks but you're gonna have to learn to do something different to give your hair a break.

What do you do when you use gel and lose a lot of hair?

stop using the type of hair gel ur using

What do you do when you use gel and lose a lot of hair?

Face the inevitable!

DUDe how old are u?

What do you do when you use gel and lose a lot of hair?

Using gel and stuff clogs your hair follicles.I never use the stuff and my hair is EXTREMELY thick and healthy.

What do you do when you use gel and lose a lot of hair?

stop using it

What do you do when you use gel and lose a lot of hair?

if you lose hair when u gel ur hair i suggest changing hair products this soulnd like your using acid or some other corrocive liquid

What do you do when you use gel and lose a lot of hair?

i dont know if shaving your head would work, it might be worth trying, and all also may you should try out a different hair gel.

What do you do when you use gel and lose a lot of hair?

what brand of gel do you use?

What do you do when you use gel and lose a lot of hair?

If using gel makes your hair fall out...quit using gel. I would think that's obvious.

Of course you could just have premature baldness, in which case Rogaine might help. It's not 100%, but it does have a pretty high success rate.

What do you do when you use gel and lose a lot of hair?

dont use that kind anymore.

What do you do when you use gel and lose a lot of hair?

My only answer would be to stop using gel. There are other alternatives like creams that hold you're hair in spikes but aren't so hard on it as well. Shaving your head won't bring lost hair back. It might even compound the problem. Good Luck!

What do you do when you use gel and lose a lot of hair?

i know this person and he uses this shampoo for horses and it really worked fast. i forgot the name and i don't even smell any bad odor from it.

What do you do when you use gel and lose a lot of hair?

well then, stop using Gel!

obviously it is affecting the growth of your hair and is taking out mounds of hair you already have,

You know the reason you are losing your hair.

So use common sense.

What do you do when you use gel and lose a lot of hair?

just shave it off. it will grow back. it would look soo much better than having bald spots everywhere. and if you want your hair to grow back quick then use vitamin E oil. it works. and i know cuz i usr that oil all the time.

What do you do when you use gel and lose a lot of hair?

get a different gel. Most gels do make you lose your hair, try going to a salon and getting your products from there.

What do you do when you use gel and lose a lot of hair?

=O dangg.. ur 13 and u have bald sponts..

get a new gel its causing u to loose ur hair.. go to a beuaty suply store.. or.... ask ur hair salon .. =] theyy should noe.!

good luck.

best of luck. my wishes to ya.!

What do you do when you use gel and lose a lot of hair?

at your age you should not be loosing hair................ unless it is genetic....................... you need to use products that are water soluble. A build up of products such as hairspray and gel can make your hair fall out as you may be plugging up the hair follicles............... my suggestion is to go to the doctor to make sure that , that is the reason for your hair lose. There can be a variety of reasons for hair lose.......... such as, poor diet, vitamin deficiency, not cleaning your scalp properly and Alecia., diabetes, and thyroid disease. I am a professional stylist and I ALWAYS tell my clients to go to the doctor if I see hair thinning or bald patches.......... please go!!

What do you do when you use gel and lose a lot of hair?

I think the product your using is creating hair loss for you..I d stop it and leave it be for a while..you may end up bald headed before your time dude..you may want to get some Biolage daily leave in tonic and rub into scalp and start soothing that head for a while and give it time to grow back..drop the product into the garbage can for now..

Girls arent that crazy about spikey hair anyore..its sooo stiff when you rub it and thats gross...Id go natural its much more fun to touch and you seem to like the girls..and do want them to touch you one day dont you?? I hope you have some hair left by now and please stop using this stuff..go surfer look and grow some hair them girls can hold on too..i bet they will like it too..i know i would.Have fun and rock on.....

What do you do when you use gel and lose a lot of hair?

stop using the gel... doy! lol jp

What do you do when you use gel and lose a lot of hair?

If you like spiking your hair, you should try "Got2B Glued" It's thicker then gel and it won't get on your scalp like gel does. It works great. I used to use it to spike out the back of my hair when it was shorter. It comes in a yellow squeeze bottle and you can buy it at Wal-Mart.

What do you do when you use gel and lose a lot of hair?

there is a product called monaxidil. you can find it in and drug store like rite aide or cvs it works to stimulate the hair growth, you have to keep using it because once you stop your hair will stop growing in those spots and fall back out.

Has anyone found something that works for extremely thinning hair in women?

I am 41 and have been steadly losing hair all over my head not just in patches, for the last 5 years. HELP!!!

Has anyone found something that works for extremely thinning hair in women?

I suggest trying ProSante Hair Care System. Clinical studies have shown that with consistent use of the ProSante system of products, a 65% reduction in hair loss during combing in 90 days, while 46% of test subjects noted an increase in the thickness of their hair in 30 days.

I've been using these products for some time now and my beautician noticed the difference in my hair without realizing I had started using these products.

Hope this is useful and for the website, feel free to contact me.

Help meee, i'm losin alot of hair?

Vitamin E is great for skin, nails and hair...Even if you can find a hair product: pomade or scalp treatment that contains Vitamin E as its main ingredient, that would help. Last but not least, see a dermatologist...I hope this helps!

I have a bischon frize dog that is losing its hair along side of face, top of head, lower back.No fl

Sounds like either low thyroid , allergies, or mange. If the skin looks fine where the hair has been, I would lean to the thyroid problem. If it is sore looking it would be allergies or mange. One kind of mange is easily treated, but one is not. Please see a vet.

I have a bischon frize dog that is losing its hair along side of face, top of head, lower back.No fleas.Ideas?

mange

I have a bischon frize dog that is losing its hair along side of face, top of head, lower back.No fleas.Ideas?

the above are excellent-but as an left wing question, you didnt use any baby oil in her bath or anything like cleaning her eyespots? because baby oil will make some toy breeds(and siamese cats) lose hair.

how old is your dog? dogs loose hair when they get old, like humans.

Cancer hair loss?

i just had cancer and lost all my hair can anyone recommend good shampoos/lotion tht make it grow faster and is not too expensiv??

Cancer hair loss?

believe it or not colesterol conditioner is very good for your scalp...and the growth/strength of your new hair...you can buy this at n e beauty supply store it only cost about $6.00 for a good sized tub about 12 oz ,,,,good luck with your recovery-------by the way you put it on your hair after n e shampoo leave it on lightly overnight and rinse in the am....

Cancer hair loss?

It would really be best if you spoke to your doctor regarding taking any medications or applying any medications. Oinments and creams are absorbed through the skin so unbeknownst to most people these enter the blood stream just like oral medications do. There are somethings out there on the market and there are vitamins, but please, please talk to your doctor or at least his nurse.

Perms ruind my hair plz help?

my hair is bleached i had it permed. i was mad because my hair was shorter almost at my shoulders, was in the middle of my back. i washed my hair regularly the day after i permed it. i can't comb thru w/ comb nor fingers when wet. i lose hair. it also knots right back up. while it dries, in the back of my head, the hair in the middle of my head. is always knoted like some hair strands are sticking together and when i use my fingers to carefully try to comb it out, all i hear is little snapping noises.

i can't seem to get rid of is the unbelieveable knots and the , i can't even comb thru it w/ anything! not a detangler comb, pick...nothing! i am in tears I used to have lovely hair please helppp ..

Perms ruind my hair plz help?

Oh dear!! Your hair sound in deperate need of some TLC.. firstly book into your salon to get a trim and deep conditioning treatment. your hair is tangling easily because the cutlicle is rough (because of over processing). and needs to be smoothed down to stop the hairs getting caughts on each other and tangling. With plenty moisture being put back into your hair cuticle the hair will eventually start to smooth down. It will take time, but plenty TLC will help. Stay of the dryer, and leave to dry naturally. To give yourself conditioning treatments use a coconut oil (aval boots, semi chem etc) shampoo hair as usual, leave conditoner on for half hour or longer if you can? Wrap warm towel, which will help to open the cuticle and replace the lost moisture.

Hope this helps!!

Perms ruind my hair plz help?

ur hair is stuck like that untill the perm washes out

Perms ruind my hair plz help?

u need 2 go a salon as soon as possible cuz if not, ur gonna be bald. Not everyone is meant to have a perm

Perms ruind my hair plz help?

You've basically killed it. You need to use loads and loads of good conditioner, use a couple of deep conditioning treatments too and treat it with MAJOR respect as it will keep breaking if you don't. When you wash it, do it as gently as possible and try not to tangle it. Use a wide toothed comb to ease out the knots carefully. Good luck.

Perms ruind my hair plz help?

It sounds like your hair is over processed. I would get a good leave in conditioner and hydrate.

Perms ruind my hair plz help?

Go to the hairdressers and see if they can help you because the perm was so recent anything u put on it could react with chemicals. I'm sure the salon could do some kind of intensive conditioning treatment for you.

Perms ruind my hair plz help?

Oh my goodness, that is terrible! Unfortunately the only thing that comes to mind, is to cut out the damage, which, poor baby, it would be so supershort. But sounds like a haircut is in your future. Another chemical could make you go bald....so sorry this happened to you.

Perms ruind my hair plz help?

Wash it with conditioner. Your hair will be a lot softer so you can comb it. If it doesn't work, go the that salon where you got permed.

Perms ruind my hair plz help?

wash it... use extra conditioner and get all the knots out while its wet and then wait for it to dry... dont use a hair dryer only towel dry it ..when its completely dry use hair oil or baby oil on it... do it regularly and ur hair will get much healthier and dont use straighteners or tongs or hairdryers or anything else thats hot on ur hair!

Perms ruind my hair plz help?

Boy I am sorry it sounds like your hair has a chemical burn. You can try some intense lief in conditioners. But it might come to getting a new cut. I can't do perms as they just are to much for my fine hair. It will just look like Brillo and break off.

Perms ruind my hair plz help?

Girl you need to try this NOW.

I think you should check out www.biolustreflorida.com

Perms ruind my hair plz help?

You can either go to a beauty supply store and buy a kit to straighten your hair, you can also go to your hairdresser %26amp; have it done.I had the same thing happen just before I got married and my only option was to have it straightened. It will take all of the curl %26amp; body out of your hair, but that will all come back once it grows out.And get some heavy duty conditioner to repair some of the damage done by the perm.

Good Luck!

Perms ruind my hair plz help?

The best answers are those that are telling you to seek professonal help. You'll need to tell the hairdresser about the products you used on your hair so that he/she can select the correct deep treatment for your problem. Also they can recommend a good shampoo and conditioner for you to use on your own.

What you've done is double processed your hair. It can be done but care needs to be taken in the selection of products when you do that.

1 yr old short hair Chihuahua loosing too much hair!?

I took her to the vet a month ago for tapeworms and she's doing good. she's on science diet and at first her coat was very shiny and would lose very little hair but now she just shreds every where! is there anything wrong with her? She stays home alone everyday for about 8 hrs could she be depressed? She got fixed about 1/2 yr ago and everything else seems normal she doesn't complain of anything. what is it?

1 yr old short hair Chihuahua loosing too much hair!?

Maybe the shampoo you use for her is either too strong or too weak. Check the pH level of the shampoo before purchasing it.

Or it could be because you changed her diet recently. If you have, it may take sometime for your Chihuahua to get used to the diet or you could always change it back again.

Thirdly and lastly, it could just be a phrase that you Chihuahua's going through or the weather.

1 yr old short hair Chihuahua loosing too much hair!?

shes probaly shedding for the summer.its almost here.

I am a girl with thinning hair, should i shave it all off?

hi, I am 21 years old. My hair is really thin and I have lost a lot of hair due to stress and possibly PCOS :-( My hair is in a really bad state and there is not much I can do with it. It has been this way since i was 13 and got worse as I became an adult. i have tried cutting it off real short and undergoing treatment and it didn't work. Will starting off with a fresh head work? :-(

I am a girl with thinning hair, should i shave it all off?

If shaving it all off isnt what you want to do, think about buying a lace wig www.affordablelacewigs.com has realistic, undetectable lace units that are high quality with low prices. I also suffer hair loss, so I understand. I have my hair short and used Dr. Miracle's hair line to stimulate growth. Im seeing some improvement but until it's back to healthy, I wear my lace wig...Good luck.

I am a girl with thinning hair, should i shave it all off?

Honey, i would just invest in some high quality wigs. It will be hard to tell and cheaper than any treatments.

I am a girl with thinning hair, should i shave it all off?

maybe i would shaved it off then buy a wig then when it's finally grown throw away the wig

I am a girl with thinning hair, should i shave it all off?

there is nothing wrong with any

girl being bald. nothing.

everyone is beautiful. =]

its your choice.

I am a girl with thinning hair, should i shave it all off?

No do not shave it off. i say so because when your hair comes back it is always thiner.

I am a girl with thinning hair, should i shave it all off?

hmm maybe, there is medicated shampoo's u can get for thickening your hair, i would try that and use your own idea as a last resort, go into your drug store and ask about them

I am a girl with thinning hair, should i shave it all off?

eeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

I am a girl with thinning hair, should i shave it all off?

Hi erzulie,

You gotta stay strong!

Probably cutting it short or shaving your head will not by itself bring out fuller hair growth. But...

Exercise and live as healthy a lifestyle as you can, because that can have a big effect.

Be positive and maintain a good attitude. sometimes it's these little things that can make the difference.

**************************************...

And there will be a cure for this someday, maybe sooner than we think. So in the meantime, keep up with any treatments that your doctor prescribes.

**************************************...

Until then be proud of who you are.

And if you feel you need to, go ahead and give yourself permission to wear a good wig, just like you'd wear a nice blouse or a pair of shoes. (That's what they're for)

And I'm gonna pray for you and for all the girls who have this problem.

Good luck, you are my sister!

Will you still be attractive if you lost your hair and got a big forehead?

yes unless you lose your smile at the same time

Will you still be attractive if you lost your hair and got a big forehead?

Yes very atractive.

Will you still be attractive if you lost your hair and got a big forehead?

Loved ting's answer. LOVED ting's answer! : )

Will you still be attractive if you lost your hair and got a big forehead?

your hair loss is not really a great loss. you can still look good if you really think you are. you need to have guts, man!

Will you still be attractive if you lost your hair and got a big forehead?

Oh yes! My fiancee started losing his hair and eventually (not only coz he had to do that but coz he wanted as well) he shaved his hair and is shaving it since then.....and let me tell you - OH MY GOD! I just adore it :) So lets say he has the biggest forehead -all from the eyes to his back part of the neck hehehe and I consider him the most handsome guy on this world ;)

Will you still be attractive if you lost your hair and got a big forehead?

Is hair really that important? The trend is to be completely bald and I heard women find that very sexy. If you have a big forehead you might look like a caveman but its shows you wild instinct and women go wild for those kind of things. Relax go join the Association Of Bald and Big Forehead People!

Will you still be attractive if you lost your hair and got a big forehead?

Yes although a lot of men start to get really distressed when they start lossing their hair, for us women if really isn't a problem, alot of women find bald men a real turn on. Shave your head then the baldness won't show so much. But believe me we like bald men, just as much as men prefer women with a bit of meat on them!! You go you sexy man you!!

Will you still be attractive if you lost your hair and got a big forehead?

only shallow people will say no to this question!

A suggestion for people w/dry&damaged hair and a Question?

After changing my hair color 3 times this summer, I ended w/dry%26amp;damaged hair and lost a lot of hair. I have been trying many products to cure that.

I have just used Brazil Nuts (the body shop) and my hair got softer and felt more like human hair for the first time. It looked like doll's hair before.

But I still have very little and thin hair. I have been going to a dermotolagist and all of blood tests are OK. She says I must use vitamins and not have a hair cut or dye for a while and it would be OK. Do you think she is right? I am really feeling miserable. I asked to use Rogaine. My dermotogist tells it is not required.

But I am still losing a lot of hair. What can I do? How long does it take for hair to repair itself and grow (if it grows of course)?

PLEASE help!!!!

A suggestion for people w/dry%26amp;damaged hair and a Question?

your doctor is right. don't do anything to your hair except for a haircut or conditioning. no heat treatments, no coloring, straighening, curling or anything that will damage you hair.

there are vitamins specialized to treat the hair. herbal shampoos with aloe vera are effective too. stress plays a part in hair loss too, so don't get TOO stressed. my aunt went bald due to stress, so don't stress out too much. drink your vitamins and do some more research on which shampoos you can use. shampoos can to be very harsh to the scalp which also contribute to the hair loss you are experiencing. change shampoos and use a milder shampoo with aloe vera.

if your dermatologist didn't tell you to use rogaine, follow her advice. it'll take some time, probably months for hair to get back to normal.

A suggestion for people w/dry%26amp;damaged hair and a Question?

Well, if your thyroid is Okay, I suggest that you take vitamins like Vitamin Bs and Biotin too. Try Rainbow vitamin complex for hair, skin and nail. It contains the initial vitamins. You can buy this from wholefoods. Good Luck!

A suggestion for people w/dry%26amp;damaged hair and a Question?

Stop dying your hair, it will just keep drying up your hair especially if you are lightening it. It is okay to have thin hair, I have a friend of mine with thin hair and she is beautiful anyway. It is what is on the inside that counts not the outside. In years from now, your beauty will be gone and all that is left is what is on the inside. Why would you dye your hair three times in a few months anyway? Learn to accept yourself the way you are and I am sure you are beautiful and you will feel beautiful. There is also a time in the year that we call chestnut season this is when you tend to lose more hair than usual. Guess what it is about this time of year. So stop worrying about your hair and go natural. Vitamins is also good for you.

A suggestion for people w/dry%26amp;damaged hair and a Question?

Wow, I am really sorry to hear about that, ok your Dr. is the boss, and if she said no to the rogaine, listen to her, one thing I would ask her, ask her if you can use nioxin, it is all natural, and botanical. not like rogaine, it doesn't use the harsh chemicals, i am sending you the link to their website, maybe you can show her.

another thing I would recommend doing daily/weekly scalp massages. It will help stimulate your hair follicles, and promote hair growth.

My hair is really fine, how can I make it thicker?

When I had virgin hair, I had so much hair that it would take me for ever to brush out. After dying my hair so many times (3x every year for 7 years), I have lost so much hair!

I stopped dying it now for about 6 months and I cut it short to give it the appearance of fuller hair but it is still really fine/thin.

What can I do to make it thicker again like I used to have it with out using the Rogaine! I don't want to depend on chemicals!

Please help!

My hair is really fine, how can I make it thicker?

Ensure that you eat nutritious food, with plenty of leafy vegetables. Have a soya milk drink and multivitamin tablets if you do not have time to have a healthy breakfast.Apply the white of a raw egg on the hair for 30 minutes, and then wash it off with a shampoo. A mixture of lemon juice and egg white and oil massage could also be used to strengthen the roots of hair. More remedies at http://hairthinning.org/ will prevent further problems.

My hair is really fine, how can I make it thicker?

Prell concentrate shampoo.

My hair is really fine, how can I make it thicker?

try getting a kids perm...that may help

My hair is really fine, how can I make it thicker?

use a new shampo that you havnt used before or go to youre docter and see if they can get a new shampo that will help

My hair is really fine, how can I make it thicker?

First you can start with using a voluming shampoo. Maybe try using some mouse as well when your hair is wet might give it some thickness. Good luck hope it works,

My hair is really fine, how can I make it thicker?

First off, its a good thing to get away from all those products. Let your hair be beautiful naturally! To get you hair to become thicker, get it trimmed every few months. (like 2 or 3) Don't get layers, that just makes your hair thinner! Try to keep it all the same lenght.

My hair is really fine, how can I make it thicker?

go onto http://www.sunsilk.com

your sunsilk is the blue one. It help increse volume in your hair.

mine is the apricot anti-itch one.

go onto fun and games and take the sunsilk quiz to find out! (even though i know yours is the dark blue)

My hair is really fine, how can I make it thicker?

I've always had fine hair, I use salon shampoos %26amp; conditioners that are made to make my hair look thicker. I have also tried Rogaine and see a little bit of new growth from that. Without using chemicals using the shampoo and conditioner to make hair look thicker will give you the appearance of thicker hair. Curls also help, I keep mine cut short %26amp; permed. If you don't want to use the chemicals of a perm either, try using a curling iron. I've also used vitamins that are made expressly for hair growth. I found them at Walgreens. They seemed to improve the health of my hair somewhat.

My hair is really fine, how can I make it thicker?

Have some oil massage, (eg. coconut oil is good). Keep it for minimum 30 minutes. Wash it in slight warm water.

My hair is really fine, how can I make it thicker?

Layers will help give it some fullness. Use a light weight (spray on/leave on) conditioner. There are a lot of good products today. After shampooing %26amp; conditioning, spray on a root lifting product (Paul Mitchell has a good one sorry I can't remember the name at the moment). Also use you vent or round brush to help lift and give volume while your drying your hair %26amp; take your time. Use a curling iron where needed.

Stress and hair loss? What are the facts? Anybody experiencing this?

I have been losing so much hair and I notice it on the top the most like where my bangs start and just basically on the top. I can see the light shining right through to my scalp when I'm getting ready for work by the bathroom mirror. My job is really stressful for me and my relationship with my b/f is very, very stressful as well. Anybody going through any of this bs.?

Stress and hair loss? What are the facts? Anybody experiencing this?

stress can indeed cause alopecia (hair loss) but be aware, we also normally shed our hair on a cyclical basis. So it could be just a combination of the two for you. Suggest to you that some stress management classes might benefit you.

Stress and hair loss? What are the facts? Anybody experiencing this?

yes stress does cause this and the only way to stop it is to not be so stressed.....try unwinding and forgetting about work once you get home..relax and maybe do some Yoga its great for helping to relieve stress...

Hair Loss...Help!!?

Ever since I gave birth to my daughter 7 months ago I have lost so much hair. Every time I wash and condition my hair, it just comes out like crazy. I roll it into a ball as a size of a golf ball. I wash my hair every other day and hate to too because I freak out. At first my doctor said it could be my hormones, and then when my blood work came back everything was normal, when she checked my thyroid on my 6 week check up, that was fine. What else could it be? Currently I went to GNC and bought some Biotin shampoo and conditioner and some vitamins and it's still not working. My doctor still has me on prenatal as well. The only thing that has changed is I have been diagnosed with anxiety and panic disorder....which my hair loss causes even more stress. I don't know what to do, if you have any suggestions, please help me out. I need some encouragement or some other answers.

FALLING HAIR -

Does your hair fall a lot? Don't worry, you're not alone. Millions of people from all around the world suffer from dry, brittle and weak hair. Some of the possible reasons for falling hair are:

Tension

Too much work

Illness

Poor diet

Over-exposure to the sun

Perming

Amateur bleaching

Too frequent and inexpert use of tints, rinses or other colourants

Here is what you can do to prevent hair fall

Shampoo regularly. Remember, a CLEAN scalp is a HEALTHY SCALP.

Brahmi amla oil also promotes hair growth.

A high protein diet with plenty of fruits, green vegetables and dairy products is a must.

Drink 10-12 glass of water everyday.

Use a very mild shampoo and condition your hair at least twice a week. When you do, make sure you rinse out the conditioner thoroughly, otherwise residue build-up will cause your hair to look limp and dull.

Know your vitamins! IRON is important for healthy hair and brittle, limp hair indicates an iron deficiency. Spinach has a good iron content, so gulp it down!

ZINC helps prevent hair loss and greying. Eat adequate zinc rich foods. Overweight people tend to have zinc deficiency, which is inversely related to the body mass index. Thus if you are overweight and if your hair falls too much, you may want to increase your intake of zinc containing foods. Recipes containing stone ground, wholegrain flour are rich in zinc.

A shortfall in VITAMIN B may cause dandruff, falling hair, loss of colour and could encourage grey hair. So B group Vitamins are essential for gloss, colour and thickness.

VITAMIN C ensures the health of capillaries supplying blood to hair follicles. Make sure your diet includes plenty of fresh fruits and veggies.

VITAMIN E encourages hair growth. Switch from refined flours to wholemeal and wheatgerm, eggs, vegetable oil.

COPPER stops hair from falling. Studies show that the copper content in the blood serum of people with falling hair is less than normal. Different types of alopecia (falling hair) are seen to have a deficiency of this important trace element. Include small quantities of nuts, especially cashews and peanuts, seeds, whole milk and beans in your diet as these contain minute but important amounts of copper.

Homemade remedies for preventing hair fall:

Apply almond oil on scalp and massage.

Grind fenugreek seeds in water and apply on your scalp. Wash off after 40 minutes. Do this every morning for a month é—…å“£ if it suits you! Remember, different treatments suit different types of hair.

Massage warm castor oil + almond oil into your scalp gently. Wrap a hot towel around your scalp so it gets absorbed into the hair. Do this twice a week for healthy, shiny hair.

Add 2-3 drops of honey to a glass of water and use this as the last rinse after shampooing.

Quick Hair Care Conditioner

Mix 1 egg, 2 tbs castor oil, 1 tsp vinegar and 1 tsp glycerine. Beat until frothy and massage lightly into your scalp. Wrap your head in a hot towel, steam, then wash off. This conditioner makes hair thicker, shiny, soft and manageable.

Honey Conditioner

Beat 1-2 eggs (depending on the length of the hair), 1 tsp honey and 2 tsp olive oil. Massage gently into the scalp. Steam, and shampoo after an hour.

Alcohol Conditioner

Beat 1-2 eggs with 2 tsp brandy. Massage into your scalp. Leave for 10-15 mins. Rinse well. The egg nourishes your hair and brandy stimulates hair growth.

Your hair is a vital beauty asset, requiring constant loving care. And with a little nurturing, lush, glossy hair will be yours.

ESSENTIALS FOR FALLING HAIR -

Does your hair fall often Arm yourself with these tools to combat hair fall.

Wide-toothed comb

Get yourself a wide-toothed comb. This is probably one of the most important yet underutilized of all hair tools. A wide-toothed comb helps you distribute conditioner evenly all over your hair while shampooing and conditioning. In addition, it also helps get rid of knots smoothly.

The best time to get rid of knots is during conditioning. Apply conditioner and run a wide toothed comb gently through your hair.

While untangling dry hair, do so in sections. Take one section at a time, and first, untangle the ends of your hair. Do so slowly, and don?t pull unless you want your hair to fall out in clumps or break.

Don?t wait for the last minute before detangling your hair. Every night, while sitting in front of the television, run a wide toothed comb gently through your hair, until you have untangled it completely. Do this every night, and you will notice that your hair remains free from tangles.

Leave-in conditioner

Dry hair tends to tangle easily, and, needless to say, causes it to break. Make sure your hair is never devoid of moisture by always keeping a bottle of leave-in conditioner handy. The next time you feel your hair is dry and rough to the touch, simply rub a dollop of leave-in conditioner between your palms, and apply it to your hair. Comb through with your wide toothed comb. Your hair will be instantly rejuvenated and moisturized. Gradually, the texture will also improve. This is a must if you blow dry your hair regularly, or if it is chemically treated. Such hair constantly craves moisture, so get yourself a bottle of leave-in conditioner.

Oil

Olive, almond and coconut oils are all excellent for the hair. While you could apply oil as an alternative to leave-in conditioner, oil tends to make your hair sticky, and you cannot style your hair well after applying oil. Your only alternative would then be to tie up your hair. For better results with oil, apply just a few drops immediately after washing your hair, when your hair is still dripping wet. Oil doesn?t penetrate the strands as easily as leave-in conditioner does though. Nothing beats a hot oil massage followed by a steam treatment, as the steam helps the oil penetrate the hair strands, strengthening them and curtailing hair fall.

Egg

Egg is great for the hair ? there are no two ways about it! True, it causes a tremendous stink in the bathroom, and your hair may let off an ?eggy? smell, but the results are instantaneous and worth it! Egg strengthens your hair almost immediately, and the egg yolk leaves your hair shining. Whip an egg with two tablespoons of olive oil and apply it to your hair. Wash off after half an hour. Make sure you wash off with cold water though, or the egg will start cooking in your hair, and would be harder to take off! Use a scented shampoo to counter the smell of egg in your hair, and follow up with a leave-in conditioner. Do this for a month, and you will be amazed by the change in your hair texture and the reduction in hair fall.

stress and anxiety can cause hair loss - treat that problem and see what comes of the hair loss

Hair Loss...Help!!?

Maybe your hair is growing as fast as you are losing it so there is probably no reason to worry. If your hair does appear to be thinner after a period of time then you may need to seek some help. Generally hair loss is quite a normal function as is skin loss (but this is something you don't usually see). Skin renews itself and so does hair.

Finished Chemo 10 months ago and no hair growth?

My Mom finished chemo and radiation treatments last November where she lost ALL the hair on her entire body. It is now almost a year later and she has only grown back her eyelashes, eyebrows and only small patches of hair on her head. Does this mean it is likely that she will never grow a full head of hair or does it mean that it might take her much longer? All the articles I have found all say that your hair will grow back, so since it has not we are really confused. Anyone experience this or know anything on the subject matter?

My wife had radiation to the head and neck; the hair did not grow back in those areas. The radiation seemed to destroy the hairs follicles ability to grow new hair.

What should I eat to regrow the hair that I have lost from my diet?

How long will it take for it to grow back? Will it look the same? I had sooo much hair, but now it has greatly thinned out. I'm pretty sad about it. I lost 45 lbs and most of my hair.

Should I eat eggs, red meat, milk, yogurt...all the things I dislike? How about centrum vitamins?

What should I eat to regrow the hair that I have lost from my diet?

knew a lady who lost some of hers and she said she had to eat more meat / protein.

What should I eat to regrow the hair that I have lost from my diet?

Hair loss during dieting is a result of not eating enough protein. Unfortunately you will either need to eat protein bars, add protein powder to your foods or eat meat, nuts, dairy, etc. You need to take in 70-80 gm. of protein daily to prevent hair loss.

What should I eat to regrow the hair that I have lost from my diet?

biotin

b-complex vitamins

iron

Zinc

Protiens(lots)

Drinking lots of water...

i buy some hair vitamins(they have specific required mgs)...

and dont over shampoo ..

What should I eat to regrow the hair that I have lost from my diet?

There are many reasons why we loose our hair. If you actually lost hair as a result of a diet (I have never heard of that), you will just have to wait and see what happens, but you can bet that there is no food out there that grows hair, if there was there would be no bald men in the world including me. Good luck.

What should I eat to regrow the hair that I have lost from my diet?

Zinc,protein,fat,iron

Hair loss??????????????

Okay lately well maybe for like the past 3 months i've been realizing that i've been losing alot more hair than usual, i mean i've always lost alot of hair when i take showers and stuff and my hairdresser always sais i have alot of hair though, i mean im not going bald now or anything but its just that after i take showers its like my hair non-stoply falls off and it kind of freaks me out. is this normal and i shouldnt be becasue im aging or somthing because im 15.

Hair loss??????????????

I have the same problem. After I shower, my hair would clog the drain and when i comb my hair, i pull out a handful of hair. My hair is thin (i don't know about you) but i have a lot of hair. When i comb my hair, my thin hair snaps and the hair falls out everywhere. Anyway, my advice to you is that you should try changing your shampoo and conditioner. Currently, i am using "Herbal Essences Strengthening shampoo and conditioner" and it helps. I used it and when i combed my hair, less hair fell off. You can try it. the shampoo and conditioner is around $4 - $5. Also, if you blowdry your hair a lot, the hair gets dry and it breaks eventually. Try not to blowdry it on high heat and rather either leave it to dry by itself (towel - dried) or blowdry it on low heat.

Hair loss??????????????

sorry i can't help

Hair loss??????????????

Drink 10-12 glasses of water daily and have a high protein diet with plenty of fruits, vegetables and dairy products. Since iron-deficiency anemia can also cause hair loss, make sure that you eat a well-balanced diet that includes a daily serving or two of iron-rich foods. Check out

http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info.

Hair loss??????????????

stress

Hair loss??????????????

If your hair is really coarse and thick, it is natural to lose an enormous amount of hair, especially when you brush it.

Hair loss??????????????

Might be some growth spurt deal going on.

You should go and check it out at your doctor and get blood work done

Sounds to me like a Thyroid problem most likely to low.

Best of luck

Hair loss??????????????

this is normal. your hair will either start to fall out because of stress or because the weather is changing, seriously. your hair is not used to the change. drinking water and eating healthy can stop this problem =)

hope it helped!

Hair loss??????????????

I have the same thing. I am 12 and whenever I am under a lot of stress I lose a bunch of hair. I have big, thick hair. Since you mentioned you were 15, I know this is most likely from school starting. Don't freak out about it, just take some time to unwind.

Hair loss??????????????

I have realized tht too so i asked my doc about it and he said it is natural for a human to lose around 10,000 strands of hair a day! i was lyk wow! So it is perfectly natural

Hair loss??????????????

Make a review of the events happening in your life lately, may be your habits have changed some how, try to sleep at least 8 hours every night, drink lots of water take care of what you eat and drink, and most important of all, RELAX, being stressed out might be the cause #1. Good luck!

Hair loss??????????????

Warning: A high protein diet is the exact wrong thing to do! Sudden thinning of hair is a red flag that your kidneys need help, and overwhelming them with protein is a big no no. The best thing to do would be a kidney cleanse and increase your water intake to about 2 quarts a day.

In addition, an excess of vitamin A can cause your hair to fall out. I recommend you discontinue any synthetic vitamins you may be taking and use spirulina (www.582356.royalbodycare.com) instead. It contains safe beta carotene that won't make your hair fall out, as well as a full range of minerals, vitamins and amino acids (protein that won't stress your kidneys).

When dogs have scabies and are treated, does the hair that was lost grow back?

I am planning on adopting a dog. He is getting treated for scabies. He has lots of hairless spots due to the infestation. He will be treated for three more weeks. Will the hair grow back or will there be bare spots for good?

When dogs have scabies and are treated, does the hair that was lost grow back?

It will grow back, it will take a lot of time once the treatment is over. Good for you adopting a dog, especially one that really needs a home!

Then comb your hair rather than brush it and start from bottom up.

Buy shampoo that has conditioner in it already and wash every other day.

Hair treatment ?

garnier deep conditioner! its only like 5 bucks. use it! :)

Hair treatment ?

Try this recipe it's supposed to make hair shine and stimulate hair growth

4 drops of essential oil of Rosemary

1 tsp. Xanthum gum (available in health food stores)

Place all the ingredients in a small bowl and mix thoroughly. Pour into a clean plastic bottle with a tight fitting stopper or lid.

Apply a small amount at a time to slightly dampened hair. Massage scalp and work mixture through hair until completely coated. Cover hair with a warm towel (towel can be heated in a microwave or dryer) or shower cap; leave on to nourish and condition for 30 minutes. Remove towel or shower cap; shampoo lightly and rinse with cool water. Dry as normal and enjoy shinier, softer and healthier hair the natural way.

Hair treatment ?

there are inexpensive ones

Hair treatment ?

Sorry Hon ....there is no proven homemade mixture to permanent fix for you problem....the only thing you really can do is break down and purchase a good shampoo and conditioner and a hair restorer...If you want to keep your long hair...go to a salon and purchase something ..like redkin or some other good quality brand. it is expensive but will last a long time.. try to go as long as you can between washings....DON'T use drug store products as they have a lot of phosphates and that will dry out your hair more and break...another cheaper product is call kolestral.. it is a conditioning treatmeant not to expensive ...you can sometimes find it in the drug store ..but all salons will carry it or know where you can get it. Never use a shampoo with condioner in it ...you will just be waisting your money...for a quick fix ...you can massage about half cup of MIRACLE WHIP..into your hair and leave it about 30 min.... wont fix you hair but will help and it will look alot better....it's the oil and egg in the miracle whip that works ....do can do that a often as you like too ...I come from a family of hair stylist and we all use a good shampoo and conditioner ...we also straighten our hair every day or so and still

dont have breakage problem ...so even though it will cost a bit more the end results will be worth it ...and evenually you will end up paying more in the long run on cheap product...

Hope this help's Hon ...and do try the miracle whip it works good for moistuizing

..

Hair treatment ?

I know you need to save money so buy some inexpensive OLIVE OIL and heat it up a little and massage it thru your hair and scalp. then for best results wrap in a warm towel and leave on for 30 minutes. Then make sure you wash as usual. this should help your hair look and feel better.

Im 22 years old and I look like a 32 years old man and i have lost some hair as well.. what shd I do

Take the opportunity for people to assume you are more mature than your 22 years of life. You can approach people and be taken more seriously. Don't try to cover up hair loss. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT attempt the "comb over". It has never, does not, and will never work! Crop it short and live with it. It really doesn't bother most women as much as most men are consumed with it! Just don't try to "stretch it".

Walk with confidence, and put the emphasis on some feature that you like, rather than expend all the energy on something you can't control or really fix!

Im 22 years old and I look like a 32 years old man and i have lost some hair as well.. what shd I do...?

buy a wig.

Im 22 years old and I look like a 32 years old man and i have lost some hair as well.. what shd I do...?

Well why do you feel like you look so much older?

Maybe you need to go buy some stylish, younger looking clothes. Consider working out and lifting weights if you don't already.

Don't worry about your hair. It's only hair, and bald men are sexy! ;0)

Im 22 years old and I look like a 32 years old man and i have lost some hair as well.. what shd I do...?

I have had this trouble since I was 21. Go for the older women and you will raise your self-esteem - as well as having a wonderful time. When you are happy within yourself go for woman in your own age group. You will be successful. As you grow older, you will find that the men who always looked younger than their age, fall apart and feel it far more than 'us'. I have been happily married for 39 years now to a wonderful woman whom I met exactly as I have suggested to you. Good luck.

Im 22 years old and I look like a 32 years old man and i have lost some hair as well.. what shd I do...?

Find a 18-20 year old gal. That will make you feel better.

Im 22 years old and I look like a 32 years old man and i have lost some hair as well.. what shd I do...?

Nothing, you cant go back and be younger looking, dont buy a wig,be content with what you look like, and quit listening to all these vain morons on the internet!

Im 22 years old and I look like a 32 years old man and i have lost some hair as well.. what shd I do...?

ROGANE

Im 22 years old and I look like a 32 years old man and i have lost some hair as well.. what shd I do...?

Shave it all off. This is a great look for the balding guy with decent facial features.

Im 22 years old and I look like a 32 years old man and i have lost some hair as well.. what shd I do...?

Come to Africa. With an American accent, any crowd will accept you despite your age and appearance. Otherwise, just put on a hat or shave your head as was suggested in the previous responses.

Is more oils in foods good for grow back the the losing hairs?

No. If you're losing hair because you're balding due to age, not much, diet-wise, will help you. If it's been falling out recently due to a change in your diet, go back to your old diet.

The general rule for hair is to take multi-vitamins and get PLENTY of protein. If you do weight-lifting or other muscle-building activities, eat more protein than you need. Hair is MADE from protein, so if you aren't eating enough of it--well, there's nothing to make hair out of.

Avoid scratching your head a lot, which can lead to scalp damage, and your hair falling out.

If all else fails, try hair transplants.

It all depends on the individual, you can lose anywhere from 10-80 hairs a day.If you want it to stop shedding so much, try brushing more often,if that doesn't help, try a hair vitamin.

How much hair fall is normal?

Well going by what i have read on various websites it is perfectly normal to lose upto 50-100 hairs each day. But if you feel that your hair is no longer as thick as it used to be and there has been a reduction in your hair volume , then it could be a serious case of hair loss.

and hey answer my question plz

How much hair fall is normal?

I read somewhere that it's like 100 strands a day, it seems like a lot though...

How much hair fall is normal?

everyone looses about 100 hairs a day. if concerned see your dr. could be thyroid or medication. stress also causes hair loss

How much hair fall is normal?

500 are normal

How much hair fall is normal?

10 gm

How much hair fall is normal?

50-70 strands of hair earch day are normal !!

How much hair fall is normal?

70 hair a week is too much.. u are havin an hair problem or u r goin through the phase of 3 months which come after every 3 years (in the hair growth n fall cycle) where hair fall increases. its like for 3 years ur hair grows, and for 3 months u hav an excessive hair fall..

increase protein and antioxidant intake in ur diet. avoid using conditioners after every wash. as using them too often result in hair loss. dont treat ur hair too harsh with heat n chemicals. take good rest. avoid oil.

dont brush ur hair too often, a few times if fine. brushing too often results in splitends. and dont take vitamin b complex tablets. they do stop hair fall but once u stop their consumption u will have a good hair fall again and then ur body will not accept the natural b complex from food n fruits. take biotin tablet for a course of 4 to 5 months, twice daily if u hav a severe hair fall, or u just want to normalise the hair cycle.

take care..

How much hair fall is normal?

there is no fixed rule for hair falls.

How much hair fall is normal?

It is normal to loose 100 strands of hair a day.To prevent hair fall oil them once or twice a week and after washing them don't towel dry them and preferably comb when dry .But if you wanna comb them when they r wet then use a wider comb.

How much hair fall is normal?

My hair cut is SPIKE so i have no hair fall.

Is thining hair normal?? will it stop??? or will I lose all my hair??? help, is there anything I can

It's normal to go through periods when we lose a lot of hair...sometimes illness or medications can cause hair loss...if you are quite concerned and the thinning seems excessive then see your doctor about it...

Do some research online to see if what you are experiencing appears to be a normal hair loss cycle or something different.

Will anesthesia make me lose my hair?

And if so, will it definitely all grow back? I'm getting my wisdom teeth out and trying to decide if I want to be "put out."

Will anesthesia make me lose my hair?

No anesthesia makes you lose your hair.

A general anesthesia will render you unconscious or at least very out of it so you won't be able to drive yourself home. A local anesthesia only numbs the area locally.

Neither will cause hair loss.

Will anesthesia make me lose my hair?

I was completely knocked out when mine were pulled and I still have all of my hair!

Will anesthesia make me lose my hair?

Believe me, you definitely want to be put out cold.

Local anesthesia is an option, but do you want to be able

to hear the doctor grinding, yanking, digging, and gouging your wisdom teeth out? Sure your hair might fall out, I don't even know where the hell you came up with that, but you will definitely regret not going under. Plus it feels really cool to get knocked out like that. I always try to fight the sleep for as long as possible, but within seconds I am out. It is totally worth a little baldness.

Will anesthesia make me lose my hair?

You definitely WONT lose any hair.

I think you may be mixing up Anesthesia and Chemotherapy here ;)

If you're squeamish at the dentist, I'd recommend full anesthesia.... or if you're not comfortable with being put under completely, ask them to use Nitrous Oxide on you.

I'm a scared patient when it comes to teeth, so I ask for the Gas every time. You'll still know what's going on, but all the unpleasant sensations will move to the edge of your consciousness... kinda like all the pain being just at your fingertips instead of your whole body.

Good luck!

Will anesthesia make me lose my hair?

That's proposterous. You may be thinking of chemotherapy which is a cancer treatment- that often results in hair loss.

But general anesthesia simply does not do that. People get "put out" all the time even for simple cosmetic procedures. They would not do that in such cases if it meant possibly losing hair.

Getting wisdom teeth out can be quite painful especially if your wisdom teeth are "impacted" (stuck behind other teeth). Get put to sleep just like I did- you wake up feeling well rested, remember nothing of the procedure and you still have all your hair!

Will anesthesia make me lose my hair?

It will have no effect on hair loss whatsoever.

sleep WAY MORE

How do I stop hair loss and reduce dark under eyes?

You best bets are to stop smoking, reduce stressors, and get some sleep.

What you are describing is common among those with high pressure jobs. Also... diet plays a big role. If you are not eating right as well as not resting.... may explain your dark circles.

How do I stop hair loss and reduce dark under eyes?

It may be that your adrenal glands are weakened or that you are iodine deficient.

Weak adrenals can affect both thyroid functions and sex hormone levels. Iodine deficiency can affect every single cell in the body and lower all your hormones. Usually hair loss is due to hormonal changes...

How do I stop hair loss and reduce dark under eyes?

for the hairloss. if its within the loss described on the rogain box then it will help. unfortunately it will keep the hair at the level it is now with some regrowth. some people respond better than others. the extra strength foam is good. unfortunately if you stop use it will start falling out again. there are off brands that are the same and work the same and cost a little less.

the circles... dk. i dont smoke but many of the people i know that smoke and have for a long time have bags and rings. i dont know if there is a real correlation.

My cat has a bit hair lost...?

It started out small, I thought it was just probably nothing? The baldish spot is on around her hind legs, where the heels are. Anyone knows if that's normal? During the vet check up, I forgot to ask, and I don't want to go back for a simple question concidering there's a check up fee. I don't want to bother if it's nothing serious to worry about.

My cat has a bit hair lost...?

Whoa there... hold off on medicating your pet before you know what's wrong!

Things that hairloss can indicate:

Dermatitis due to skin infection

Flea bite allergy (but not usually so if you don't see any fleas)

Hyperthyroidism

Ringworm

Allergies

Barbering (behavior when a cat chews for no reason)

+/- kidney disease

Stress

I would call your clinic and leave a message for the doctor that saw your cat. Often times they look at the record and can give you advice over the phone. If the cat had hairloss at the vet, the vet should note it in the chart during the exam. But I wouldn't treat for something you don't know she has without asking the vet... often that can cover up a problem or cause a bigger problem.

My cat has a bit hair lost...?

I had a cat that lost patches of hair on her rump if she came into contact with fleas... I don't know if that could be it or not--maybe you could just give the vet's office a call and tell them you forgot to ask at your appointment, but you wondered if they had noticed anything problematic?

My cat has a bit hair lost...?

It is possible that your cat has had an allergic reaction to flea bites. You can get a flea comb from most pet stores (it's a very fine-toothed metal comb); run it through the cat's fur, and if there are fleas, they will be caught between the teeth of the comb. If you see fleas, you will of course need to deal with those. If you don't see fleas, and the bald patches don't spread, then keep an eye on them to be sure that they are not getting infected; if the area starts to spread significantly, it's time to see the vet. Since it sounds like you've recently taken the cat for a check-up, the fact that the vet didn't mention it makes me think that it is a temporary matter; if you can see that it is distressing the cat, then take her/him in to be seen again. Good luck!

My cat has a bit hair lost...?

I am aware that hair loss in cats if it is generalized is typically because the cat is stressed. When the hair loss is in a specific area my sense is that it is probably something she is doing via chewing and is probably the result of a food allergy or she may have bites from fleas which can cause extreme itching. Do you notice any inflammation, reddening of the skin in that area, bumps? Have you changed her food recently? While you shouldn't be overly concerned, it should be watched so you will know if it gets better or worse. If it does not clear up within a week or 10 days, I recommend you take her in or some vets will talk to you on the phone and give you an idea of what it might be and/or what you might do about it. Since she has had a check up recently, they probably won't charge you for another check-up, just the office visit. Good luck and remember, you are the only one she has to rely on to provide her what she needs to be safe and healthy. I know $ can be a problem but you wouldn't want her to be suffering either. You may be able to work something out with the vet too.

My cat has a bit hair lost...?

There may be something of use here.

My cat has a bit hair lost...?

That is a classic dermatitis area, back of legs and hips. Keep her Frontlined or Advantaged for flea control and see if it clears up. If not, she may need a steroid from the vet, to control itching.

Layered hair question [read for details]?

Yesterday I got my hair really, REALLY layered and cut. It kind of retains a messy look because of that, and I like it. It's just past my shoulders. My hair was really really thick to start with, so it was always really wavy... and now that my hair is shorter, I'm sure it'll probably go insane. After my shower I blow dried my hair and put in some mousse and kind of ruffed up my hair a bit... but will I need to use a straightener? I don't want my hair to lose the layered/messy look but I also don't want my hair going super wavy/ curly. And I'm sort of scared that a straightener will just make it go flat.

Tips and answers would be great, thanks!

Layered hair question [read for details]?

definitely not :]

what you should do is get your straightener and start at the roots, then straighten directly outwards and up! go relatively slow, or the hair wont straighten.

once you have done this on all your layers, lift them up layer by layer and spray with hair spray under the layers, to give them hold and support.

you may even want to tease a little bit after that, but that it your choice

hope i helped!

Layered hair question [read for details]?

Dont straighten it because it will take the wildness out of it....if you want it to not be curly use a gel that specialises in curl untangles, cos that will make it less curly...Goodluck

Layered hair question [read for details]?

a straightener will make it look straight and what you could do is turn the straightener at the bottom in and poof it up a bit , OR you could do whatever you like and if it doesnt turn out right then go to the salon and ask them to make it look the way it did when it was cut then ask how you can keep it that way .

hope i helped

Layered hair question [read for details]?

Well any striaghtner will work, i use a chi but just turn it really low so i keep that messy look

My hair gets messy and it is too dry?

my hair gets knoted every time i wash my hair or apply oil due to this my i am losing lots of hair.... i put egg once a week and wash with shikai every alternate days but still it is the same i started using shampoo but no use.... please suggest me some thing which will remove th knots from hair and stops my hair fall ...... and also doesnot leave it dry it would be better if it is home made

My hair gets messy and it is too dry?

Wash your hair every day with shampoo and afterwards use conditioner. leave it in for about 2 or 3 minutes, then rinse with cool water. This makes it shiny, and you should use shampoo and conditioner every tme you wash your hair...

For a home made recipe, mash up half an avocado and apply it and leave it in your hair for about 10 minutes!! then rinse of course!

hope this helps ;)

My hair gets messy and it is too dry?

I don't know about home made, but i do know that you should try olive oil conditioner you can find it at any beauty supply store and also motions CPR conditioner it is sooooo good! It restores your hair shaft, and also you definitely want to Always untangle your hair from the ends to the root. That decrease damage to the hair and it also feels better and less stress on your hair. License cosmetologist

My hair gets messy and it is too dry?

i also have that kind of hair before....i even use coconut milk every week until a friend advices me to wash my hair with shampoo every other day and use conditioner everyday instead...on my first week, i totally did not shampoo my hair, just conditioner everyday...and never go under the sun without any protection for my hair...direct sunlight can damage hair...never comb hair while still wet.

My hair gets messy and it is too dry?

just boil coconut pure oil,,and then add neem leaves and when it cools store in brass vessel, then add ,and masage coconut herbal oil once in three days!! see the wonder

My hair gets messy and it is too dry?

Don't wash your hair every day because that strips your natural oils, wash your hair 1 day yes and 1 day no and keep going like that. The days that you wash your hair wash with shampoo then rinse well next put conditioner in hair and leave it in your hair for 3 to 4 minutes, and rinse. After your done don't use hair dryer to dry your hair let it air dry don't use a towel to take all the water out, use the towel to get out just the extra water.

Hope this work, my fingers are crossed for you.

My hair gets messy and it is too dry?

Try using Hair Oil...Dia in Parachute Hair Oil commercial Does this stuff really work? lol I got it from a great site www.diamirza.com

Hair question, to cut or not to cut? need help!!?

i have naturally very thin curly medium length hair. the curls make my hair look reasonably thick as my hair looks thin when i straighten it.it used to be very ringlety but cos i have dyed my hair extreme colours over the past few years (plat blonde, blue, shocking red, pink etc) my hair has lost some of its springy curlyness at the top. however, i fancy a massive change. i fancy a very short hairstyle like the one the really thin blonde girl from americas next top model has. but, as my hair gets curlier when its shorter anyway, will it turn into an afro fly-away mess? what do you all think?

also, i have a fairly large forehead and so i would like some sort fringe, but will this go wrong cos if my curly fine hair? thankies people :)

Hair question, to cut or not to cut? need help!!?

Well, first, color. Hightlights and lowlights give dimension and will do so form your curls, making them more 3-dimensional.

For a short hairdo, perhaps you could look into relaxing your hair? Just a bit to loosen the springiness.

If you shorten your hair to a pixie cut, then the curl won't show up, but i wouldn't recommend going that short, because the growing out period will be a pain in the ****. Just look what happened to that chick from Felicity.

But my suggestion for your hair would be chin-length and layered, like this haircut Sarah Jessica Parker has which I liked so much, but can't get cos my hair is simply wavy.

Keep in mind that it was a bit shorter in back and stacked. It's great, very 1920s flapperish.

Hair question, to cut or not to cut? need help!!?

cut! It always grows back

If you have 10 inches, donate to locks of love

Hair question, to cut or not to cut? need help!!?

well i sugest tat u can get a side bang n flat or blow dry ur hair stair n use some product 2 keep it start...like 4 example u can u a long lasting hair spary after u blow dry or flat iron of u could use somr conditioner day use to keep it start...n 4 ur 4head u can u a side bang...

Hair question, to cut or not to cut? need help!!?

Hair is hair. it grows back. just do it. i myself had long hair to the middle of my back one day durring the summer i was bored and cut my hair myself scary yes but im glad i did it I havent had long hair since!

Hair question, to cut or not to cut? need help!!?

long hair is always more convenient. It can always be put into a ponytail especially nice in humid areas. A cut is nice but must be maintained at least every 2-3 weeks and who has time like that. Anyways it's winter your head might get cold. I say leave it long and think again in the spring/summer.

Hair question, to cut or not to cut? need help!!?

dont do it honest! i had long hair, but i decided that i wanted a bob, so i have got it done and have regretted it (even thow i won't admitt it because everybody told me not 2 do it!) you cant do anything with short hair, and because you have wavy hair it would mean you have to make the effort to straighten it daily! also - wot i really h8 about my hair is that it always look the same. because i struggle to tie it up, i never looked dressed up when i go out because i wear my hair the same for college as i do when im going out. its your hair and i do know a couple of people who havent regretted having it done - but personally i wish i never did it! hope you make the right desicision hun! xxxxx

Hair question, to cut or not to cut? need help!!?

I think that you should go ahead and cut it. Not only will it get rid of any damaged hair, from all the colorings and styling, it will also give your hair a change to renew itself.

I don't think it will turn into a mess, and if it does, then you can always use a product to tame your curls, like John Frieda's Frizz Ease.

And I don't know how fringe will work with your hair. Maybe try longer ringlets over your forehead.

You may want to try a free on line makeover site to try on different hairstyles if you are unsure. They are a great way to see what you could look like with different styles with your own individual face shape.

Hair question, to cut or not to cut? need help!!?

I think you should just go head with the cut and just maintain you hair if you don't have time to maintain it i don't think that the cut will be right

Hey is the hair regrowth after a telogen hair loss always fuzzy at first (2-3 months)??

Well it is like baby fine hair on a newborn. Yes, it will appear fuzzy and frizzy. There are actually products out there for the "frizzes." You wouldn't be insulted if I gave you a few names would you? I mean most of these are for women, but who the heck said they had to be! Try "Frizz ease" .......it conditions and smooths. There are also "serums" to put on your hair after getting out of the shower before drying your hair. Fruictese (oh man I think I botched that spelling!) Fruitese...Fruictese.ok I give up....But they have a fantastic line of shampoos and conditioners and serums for frizzy or fluffy stuff. (green bottle) Let me know how it goes!! Good luck. (and uhm.....*cough* sorry about the spelling )

Hey is the hair regrowth after a telogen hair loss always fuzzy at first (2-3 months)??

i think it is fuzzy for the first few months.

My hair is turning into a nightmare and i dont even know wat exactly is wrng wid it pleassse hellppppppp!!!!!!

Try a volume shampoo and conditioner. This will help make your hair fuller. Then curl it and play with it to find new ways to fix your hair so you cant notice the part. I know its only a temporary fix but it may make you feel better. Try looking a Faith Hills hair. Sometimes she pulls it half back and puffs up the top. Its stylish and you could pull off the look im sure.
