Hair question...?

Okay, so I have naturally straight hair, and I really want to curl it or make it wavy or whatever, but whenever I try the curls/waves NEVER stay in. My mom says that her hair was always like that too so i guess i inherited it. But it's SOO annoying. Any suggestions on how to make the curls stay better?

oh yeah and whenever the do stay in i have to use massive amount of hairspray and it causes my hair to lose it's softness.

Hair question...?

First of all, hair curls better if it hasn't been washed for a day or two. Sounds gross, but the oils help it stay in place. If you need to wash your hair, or need to curl it when you just washed it, rub some Garnier mousse (extra hold) into your hair. One it dries, brush your hair, then proceed to curl it. Also, a good, natural hairspray that doesn't make your hair sticky or rough is a couple tabelspoons of lemon juice mixed with water. Watch out, though, lemon can sometimes dry out your hair. Hope I helped!

Hair question...?

yeah you really cant do much with that type of hair because its so hard to keep in... i would suggest curling it with a high heat hair straightner
