Yes. One of the symptoms of syphillis is hair loss. The hair loss is generally diffuse (all over your head) but can be in patches. It's unusual for hair loss to be the only symptom of syphillis. There are many much more common causes of hair loss (alopecia areata, alopecia universalis, male pattern baldness, etc...)
If you're concerned get tested.
