I m six week pregnant andon bed rest. how can I maintain my skin and hair. weight ofcourse I can't think of managing but how can i keep my skin glowing and protect my hair from thinning as I heard women loses her hair during or after preg. I drink 2 litres of plain water + juice +milk+butter milk. Itake raw fruits like apple+watermelon/sweet melon+ grapes. but I skip my meals sometime or eat very less coz whenever i saw food i feel like vomiting. Im carrying Twins will this diet will suffice mine and mine kids needs? plzz help

Not all women lose hair during pregnancy. There are sprays on the market that are meant for in between shampooings to keep your hair fresh. I would recommend using lotion to keep your skin hydrated and try to eat something every couple hours for the benefits of the kids. If it is hard to keep anything down try crackers or something light. They need the nutrition really bad at this stage in the pregnancy.

Oatmeal
Cereal (dry or with a little milk)
Snacks:
Plain, dry crackers (Saltines, Ritz)
Graham crackers
Plain popcorn (no butter or salt)
Pretzels, corn and potato chips (salted, not spicy flavors)
Celery sticks, carrot sticks, apples
Raisins, prunes
Lunch %26amp; dinner:
Soup or broth
Pasta
Rice (white or brown)
Unseasoned mashed potatoes (butter/milk only), plain baked potato

You have very little protein in your diet besides the milk. You need to add more protein and healthy fats (olives, nuts, avocado, salmon). If you are vegetarian, I would add more beans and lentils.
You should try to stay active at this stage (you are only 6 weeks pregnant) because maintaining a little bit of fitness will give you more stamina during childbirth and also give you more energy now.
You need to diversify your diet and eat at more regular intervals. This will prevent low blood sugar in yourself (and make u less likely to feel nausea) and also keep your baby's blood sugar stable as well. And of course, a healthy diet will help your skin and nails.
